The new Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Complex is designed to support modern educational trends, such as small-group collaboration, hands-on learning, use of multimedia tools, smaller class sizes, and multidisciplinary approaches, while remaining flexible enough to respond to future pedagogical innovations. The complex is comprised of two buildings: a 32,000-square-foot technology building and a 100,000-square-foot science, engineering, and math building.

With ARAMARK as its commissioning agent, the new science building of Muhlenberg College (Allentown, Pa.) has been awarded a Silver Rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. This is the first building on the college's campus to be LEED certified.
As a component of our work at Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Cedar Crest campus, Lehigh Valley Health Network Facilities and Construction in association with VSBA planned, designed, and oversaw construction for the Center for Advanced Health Care, a LEED Silver certified anchor for ambulatory care whose mission is to create a personal, patient-centered and life-affirming experience for the patient. Physicians’ offices, clinical spaces, and other tenants are located here.
Mercy Neighborhood Ministries of Philadelphia, Inc. (MNM) is a 501 (C) (3) not for profit organization that has served the Tioga neighborhood of North Philadelphia for over 25 years. It is the only social service provider in one of the most neglected sections of Philadelphia. The Ministries’ programs were developed in partnership with Tioga’s residents in order to address their needs.
Liberty demolished an outdated single story 35,000 square foot building to create an energy efficient three-story 110,000 square foot Class A office building. If offers sustainable features such as waterless urinals and low flow faucets to reduce water usage, abundant daylighting with larger than normal windows and a three story atrium to provide natural light throughout, and CO2 sensors to bring in fresh air when CO2 levels are too high.
Eco-Beach is a Silver LEED certified property in Bethany Beach, Delaware. It is the first LEED certified home in the state of Delaware as well as Marnie Inc.’s first socially responsible home. The house is outfitted with eco-friendly products including ENERGY STAR appliances, recycled rubber flooring, cement hardipanel exterior, and low VOC paint. The house is insulated with closed cell spray foam insulation as well as BATT insulation. For energy efficiency and low indoor water usage, high efficiency gas furnaces and tankless water heaters were installed.
In 2008 Liberty registered 8451 Willard Drive in Liberty Business Center to be the first LEED certified warehouse building in the Lehigh Valley. This 920,400 SF, Class A, tilt-up concrete warehouse/distribution center earned LEED Silver certification for its high performance design elements.
