KSK Architects Planners Historians, Inc. provided complete architectural and engineering services for Mantua Square in West Philadelphia, the redevelopment of the former Mantua Hall high-rise public housing project. The development of 101 new rental walk up apartments in three-story buildings surrounding private secure parking and a landscaped park also includes street level commercial space, a community room and managerial office.

Green Roof on Kitchen

As part of a larger renovation project, Urban Ecoforms designed and installed an extensive green roof on a local resident's kitchen roof. In the next few growing seasons the sedum plugs will fill in to create a green carpet of succulents that is visible from all of the adjacent homes and from the project owner's bedroom.

Wister Education Center and Greenhouse

Swarthmore, Pennsylvania 19081
The Wister Education Center and Greenhouse, designed by Archer & Buchanan Architecture, Ltd. of West Chester, PA, is a sustainably designed facility, LEED GOLD certified by the US Green Building Council. The Wister Center serves the staff and volunteers of The Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College in their mission "for the encouragement of horticulture in its broadest sense." The state-of-the-art greenhouse provides space for plant propagation, overwintering, cultivation and display.

Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Kasych Pavilion

Allentown, Pennsylvania 08103

FreemanWhite, Inc. in association with VSBA designed a major expansion for the Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Cedar Crest Campus and oversaw construction of the final phase of its facility master plan projects. The Kasych Pavilion, centerpiece of the campus, includes:

 

• a 182-bed (all private) patient care tower

• 6 new operating rooms

• 3 30-bed medical / surgical units

• 2 intensive care units with 44 beds total

• cardiac unit

• 30-bed open-heart unit in-patient tower


Lehigh Valley Industrial Park Building

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 08015

Lehigh Valley Industrial Park and Spillman Farmer Architects have achieved dual LEED Gold certifications for the Lehigh Valley Industrial Park office building and Spillman Farmer Architects’ offices, located in Bethlehem Pennsylvania on the former Bethlehem Steel industrial site (and now the largest privately owned brownfield site in the United States).


REI Eastern Distribution Facility

REI, a leading distributor of recreational outdoor equipment chose Lauth to develop and construct a 625,000 square foot distribution center in Bedford, PA. The state-of- the-art center will serve the recreational, camping, hiking and climbing needs of the eastern United States market.


Muhlenberg College - Science Building

Allentown, Pennsylvania 18104

With ARAMARK as its commissioning agent, the new science building of Muhlenberg College (Allentown, Pa.) has been awarded a Silver Rating from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. This is the first building on the college's campus to be LEED certified.


Camden Monthly Meeting Social Hall

Camden, Delaware 19934

This project includes the historic restoration of an 1805 Meeting House and a new community gathering space designed to match the elegant simplicity and durability of the Meeting House. Prior to design, Re:Vision’s due diligence included an energy audit, structural analysis, and archaeological investigation of the existing site and historic Meeting House building. This information formed the basis for a master plan which Re:Vision then executed.
