Sustainable Development Solutions Put the Green in India Ecotourism Park

Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India,

Delara Tourism Corporation (DTCL) had a vision for developing an Ecotourism Park in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India, and was looking to integrate green development into the entire project. Construction is now underway on the park, which will be a landmark facility destination for tourists, families, and local workers--one that is a successful public-private partnership benefiting the government of Andhra Pradesh, the developers, and the local community.


Camden Monthly Meeting Social Hall

Camden, Delaware 19934

This project includes the historic restoration of an 1805 Meeting House and a new community gathering space designed to match the elegant simplicity and durability of the Meeting House. Prior to design, Re:Vision’s due diligence included an energy audit, structural analysis, and archaeological investigation of the existing site and historic Meeting House building. This information formed the basis for a master plan which Re:Vision then executed.


HUB - Cira Centre

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19104
This conference center and office space is an 11,200 square foot commercial space on the 2nd floor of the Cira Centre. Brandywine Realty Trust developed the land at the Cira Centre as Amtrak focused on improving rail traffic and increasing its commercial retail holdings. The HUB – Cira Centre occupies a portion of the 2nd floor of the Cira Centre.

Lynn W. Williams Science & Technology Lodge

Newark, Delaware

To reflect their environmental and educational mission, The Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay hired Re:Vision Architecture to design a series of youthful green buildings that can also be used as teaching tools about environmental stewardship and green design.  To kick-off the projects, RVA helped secure funding for a series of public design meetings ("charrettes") at each camp.


Felician Sisters Convent and School

Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108

The Franciscan nuns of the Felician Sisters Convent faced a dilemma: an aging physical plant, a population with an average age of 77, declining income, increasing expenses, and the desire to leave a legacy. The community lived in both a 1960s infirmary building and a 1930s motherhouse, which also housed the 300-student Our Lady of Sacred Heart High School. The Sisters decided to renovate the motherhouse and consolidate the community and school there.


BluPath-GreenSteps Office

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19147

The building is located in an urban setting, between a mature residential neighborhood and an active, historic commercial district, with schools, parks, shopping and restaurants. Public transportation and numerous car sharing locations are available nearby. The 3,000 square foot mixed-use building is ‘thru-block’, with windows on the east and west facades, bringing sunlight into the building throughout the day. The first floor and lower level are office use, with a large 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor.


Blue Ball Dairy Barn

Wilmington, Delaware 19803

Following WRT's comprehensive park master plan, this $4.6 million restoration and adaptive reuse of the historic Blue Ball Dairy Barn creates a focal point for Alapocas Run State Park that accomodates a visitor's center, a museum, and an event facility. A new addition houses support facilities, restrooms, and offices, as well as catering and vending services.


Overbrook School for the Blind

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19151

W.S. Cumby recently completed construction of a new 25,000 SF aquatic center, which includes a competition pool as well as a recreational and therapy pool. The new facility serves as a connector to two existing buildings on the OSB campus to provide flow between buildings and provide indoor access to the pools.
