Educational Programs

Lunchtime brown bag technical seminars, evening informational sessions, weekday/weekend tours and on-line webinars make for a diverse mixture of green building related programs and platforms for participation. Knowledgable experts from industry, educational institutions, government entities, and public organizations are invited to present and instruct on a wide variety of topics.

Popular SOLD-OUT sessions from our 2007-2008 calendar included the "Here Comes the BTUiful Sun" evening technical seminar on solar photovoltaic and solar thermal energy systems; the "Practical Applications of Porous Paving: How, When & Why" lunchtime brown bag presentation about managing stormwater runoff more effectively, and the "Onion Flats, LLC" tour of the first LEED-Homes certified buildings in the city of Philadelphia.

All are welcome to participate in the region’s events, and you are encouraged to join our chapter to receive member discounts!
