Join us for a Green Home Tour and a presentation by Philip Ehlinger on Doylestown Borough’s Green Points program. The tour will feature a circa 1820 stone home recently renovated by Doylestown Building & Remodeling, Inc. from top to bottom with sustainability in mind. Some of the green renovations include increased insulation, radiant floor zoned heating system, recycled plastic slate roofing and recycled & repurposed building materials from on site. Doylestown’s Green Points program is a voluntary program intended to encourage cost effective and sustainable building methods through building permit fee reductions on a variety of sustainable construction practices. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
