This workshop is intended for professionals who are familiar with the LEED for New
Construction or LEED for Core & Shell Rating System, but new to implementing it on
projects or looking to brush up on implementation best practices. It is also
appropriate for those pursuing GBCI’s LEED AP Building Design + Construction
credential – and complimentary, discounted exam preparation and practice test
resources will be available in summer 2009 for workshop participants pursuing the
LEED credential.

An official USGBC LEED Faculty member will walk the class through the phases of a
typical project, including key decisions that project teams must make and guidance
on how to make them. Throughout the day, you will engage with other participants
in interactive activities that use case examples to enable you to work hands-on
with the LEED Rating System. A few days prior to the workshop, registered
participants will receive short case studies to review in preparation of the course.
These case examples will provide the basis of the morning discussion and set the
stage for rest of the day.

Participants receive exclusive online access to the reference guide, and the rating
system is available for free at www.usgbc.org.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

for New Construction and Core & Shell Rating Systems and green building
