Haworth and DVGBC Present...

Haworth's 2010 Distinguished Speaker Series

Featuring Judith Heerwagen

Date: Tuesday, May 11, 2010, 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Generating positive emotions through biophilic design.

Do you want to help your clients reduce psychological and physiological stress, shift to positive emotional states, and improve their ability to concentrate? The capacity to generate positive emotion through biophilic design -- incorporating nature into the built environment – is a largely untapped resource.

Haworth is pleased to bring you Judith Heerwagen, an environmental psychologist and editor of Biophilic Design: The Theory, Science, and Practice of Bringing Buildings to Life, as part of this year’s Distinguished Speaker Series. She will be sharing her expertise in relaxed sessions across North America. Please join us at a session in the Haworth showroom nearest you and receive 1 ½ credit hours towards your AIA or IDCEC (IIDA, ASID, IDEC, and IDC) certification.

Cost: $10 for DVGBC Members, $20 for Non-Members
