Yard waste and tree shredding demonstration
hosted by PRC
Ridley Creek State Park

On July 15, PRC will be hosting a yard waste and tree shredding demonstration at its Ridley Creek State Park facility.

PRC's 3 year old stock pile needs to be turned into a more productive mulch. Fecon, Inc. from Cincinnati, OH will be at PRC for several days helping clean up brush piles and clear the perimeters of some of the horse pastures. Fecon is doing this as a pro-bono service.

The Conservation Districts of Chester and Delaware Counties, the USDA Natural Resources and Conservation Service and Ridley Creek State Park are co-sponsors of the event. The Bull Hog shredder offers an environmentally beneficial way to clear brush in-place (no cut and drag/haul to another location) without burning. The end product is a mulch which can be shredded to any desired size.

Although the demos are at 2 times on July 15, other times could be arranged during that week if needed. See flyer for additional information.
