SMPS Philadelphia, in association with DVGBC, is pleased to present this half-day Green Conference. The program will begin with lunch and features Liberty Property Trust Senior Vice President, National Marketing and Development John Gattuso, who will deliver the keynote speech, clean energy expert Gregory Kats, CEM, and building costs expert Beth Heider, AIA. Mr. Kats will speak on the financial benefits of green building and designing. He has worked with the US Department of Energy and the World Bank on many significant projects, and offers valuable insights into the practical side of green design. Ms. Heider, a VP with Skanska USA Building who specializes in the impact of design on building costs, will address GSA benchmarking costs for various levels of LEED buildings. The conference will also present case studies of LEED-certified office and laboratory buildings, and a Q and A session with a panel of USGBC members and green design experts will be held for all conference participants.

An audience of 200 regional executives, facilities design and construction specialists, and opinion leaders in green design is expected to attend the event.
