9:00 am to 5:00 pm (registration starts at 8:30 am)
PECO Energy Co.
2301 Market Street, Philadelphia PA
Professional Credits: This program is worth 7.0 AIA LUs (HSW)
Effective implementation of green building strategies can create significant savings of building operation and maintenance costs; reduce energy, water and material costs; and increase occupant health and productivity. LEED is a design framework that is widely used to guide sustainable design decision-making. Improperly applied however, the LEED system can add cost without adding corresponding value to the client.
Workshop Topics
To provide building industry professionals with the skills, tools and knowledge they need to successfully deliver LEED certified projects that meet their economic and environmental project goals, the workshop explains:
• Reducing the Cost of Ownership
• Maximizing Value with LEED
• Case Studies
• Interactive Exercises
About Get to Green
Driving Down the cost of LEED is the first in a three-part series on LEED project management. Subsequent workshops will be offered on Integrated Design and Project Delivery.
