Thursday, September 14, 2006 Continuing Ed. Credits: Four owners will present their experience with green design and the LEED process. The audience may submit questions in advance; also, attendees are encouraged to bring questions to the event. Confirmed panelists include: Ari Barkan, residential developer. Mr. Barkan will discuss his conversion of an 6,800 sq ft, 1957 structure facing Ben Franklin Parkway into a multi-level residence with ground-floor commercial space. The project is mid-way through design and is applying to the LEED-H Pilot Program. Norman Ricker, Haverford College (retired Vice President of Facilities). Mr. Ricker will discuss the new LEED-NC Gold certified Gardner Integrated Athletics Center.
