Carpenter Hall Educational Programs
"The Green Building Process,
from Concept to Completions."
Green Infrastructure Systems.

5:30 pm-7:30 pm
Carpenters' Hall
320 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106

"Green Infrastructure is our Nation's natural life support system - an interconnected network of protected land and water that supports native species, maintains natural ecological processes, sustains air and water resources, and contributes to the health and quality of life for America's communities and people." - President's Council on Sustainable Development

Two speakers, Ignacio F. Bunster-Ossa and Howard M. Neukrug, will focus the discussion on how to improve the quality of natural and built environments by applying the principles of Green Infrastructure to the planning and design of buildings, landscapes, cities, and regions. The speakers will talk about actual projects that demonstrate the intent to protect natural resources, promote economic well-being, and create livable human habitats that reflect local heritage, culture, and values.

Speakers:

A Harvard Loeb Fellow, Mr. Bunster-Ossa periodically lectures, teaches, writes, and serves on design award juries.
