Energy from the sun is becoming more viable and affordable than ever before!

In 2010 a shock will be felt in every Philadelphia area home and business when PECO rate caps vanish and electric bills increase substantially. Come for intermediate to advanced level information that will expand your knowledge beyond just familiarity with the basic technology. The session will focus on Solar PV (electric generation) and Solar H2O (heat generation) systems and products. Topics include; criteria for system selection, site analysis, sizing and configuration, mounting scenarios, net metering, maintenance and code issues. Case studies will illustrate problem solving and integration with the architecture design and building systems and finally lessons learned. Time allowing, solar renewable energy credits (SRECs), solar integrator options (PPAs) and funding opportunities will be discussed.
