Consider this: Although 75% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water, only 3% is suitable for human consumption. And of that 3%, most is either locked in polar ice caps and glaciers or hidden beyond the reach of commercial technologies. A little less than 1% of our water is found in lakes, rivers, and approachable underground aquifers. In short, water is becoming the resource of the 21st Century. More importantly, it is time we start utilizing this forgotten natural resource!

Join us for a discussion on rainwater harvesting systems with Mr. Michael Stark, principal of Stark Environmental, LLC www.starkenvironmental.com. Believe it or not, rainwater re-use strategies are based upon a very straightforward technology. As a full-service rainwater harvesting and storm water management consultant, Michael emphasizes its all about keeping it simple! With a background in construction and mechanics, Michael draws upon his expertise to help his clients streamline their designs and find what really works. Michael will discuss the four essential steps required to harvest and use the "free" and abundant supply of rainwater that falls on your roof.
