Second Annual Branch Membership Mix And Mingle

Join the membership of the Lehigh Valley Branch of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) for an evening of celebration and networking. A brief update on the successful formation and recognition of the Lehigh Valley Branch by the DVGBC and the Branch’s plans for the future will be presented. Food and refreshments will be available. For non-members interested in the learning more about the Lehigh Valley’s green movement and the DVGBC activities, members of the Branch’s leadership and supporting committees will be on hand to answer questions and accept new members.

The Da Vinci Center is designed to meet a LEED Silver certification rating; tours of the Center will highlight the innovative strategies such as roof-mounted photovoltaic panels and a wind turbine. These renewable energy systems generate over 22 percent of the building's energy use, making it a regional model for sustainable design.
