Dansko is an international designer and distributor of men’s and women’s comfort footwear. The company’s new corporate headquarters demonstrates a values-based commitment to work toward full sustainability in all of its business practices and products. W.S. Cumby recently completed a major expansion of Dansko’s West Grove facility. Many green building and sustainable design features are included in the new 82,000 SF, three-story, multi-use office and retail building including: Displacement heating and cooling via under floor distribution, vegetated roofs, rain gardens, permeable paving, light shelves and solar shades, rainwater harvesting, forest stewardship council (FSC) certified wood, living wall for filtration of return air, recycled and local materials, automated lighting controls, super efficient glazing, provision for future photovoltaics and construction waste recycling. LEED-NC v2.2 Gold Certified.
