Description:

We just had our house built about 2 years ago and the builder used all energy efficient products from windows to appliances all with the energy star. Also they had a problem in the past with water erosion coming from the downspouts. So a solution for them was to connect the downspouts to a under ground piping leading to waste water. My Idea is to catch the rainwater, divert to a holding tank in my basement, sustainingly filter, and pump the water to our Hot water Heater, which supplies water to the whole house.also suppling water to our lawn sprinklers. If I figured correctly this could save us 30%-40% in water bills and pay for itself in 4-5 years. Our basement is currently being renovated and is at about 40%.looking for the proper green holding has been a mission and any feed back will be much appriciated. I'm currently enrolled in Green Building Awareness held thru our union and I'm very much interested in moving far into the L.E.E.D.framwork. I'm looking foward to continue to learn all I can.Thank you James J. Ceneviva jceneviva@yahoo.com
