Governance of Directors Committee

• Create a board profile consistent with the Strategic Plan to ensure diversity and that the board is populated to carry out the plan
• Solicit interest from potential new board members to meet the profile and to replace members lost through term expiration and attrition, and nominate them for election
• Conduct annual elections
• Take responsibility for board life, monitor the performance of board members, sanction members when required, and acknowledge individual contributions at appropriate times
• Develop procedures and policies for the organization to meet strategic goals

The Governance of Directors committee meets every 2nd Monday at 5:30 pm at DVGBC offices, unless otherwise noted.
