Following the momentum of our recent WELL Workshop, DVGBC is excited to welcome back Jessica Cooper of Delos for a one-day deep dive into the WELL Building Standard. She will be joined by her colleague, Meagan Rossi, and together they will dive into the seven WELL categories and conclude with WELL AP Exam and test taking tips. The workshop is worth 6 GBCI CE hours and 6 AIA LU-HSWs. Coffee and lunch will be provided.

About the Presenters 

Jessica Cooper is a longtime member of the architecture and design industry and has experience in project management, design, and construction, as well as in developing and executing educational programs for the green building community. Currently at Delos as Executive Vice President leading the Delos Solutions group, Jessica’s work seeks to improve health and wellness through the spaces in which we live and work, while minimizing the impact on our natural environment. 

Before joining Delos Living, Jessica worked as Programs Manager at Urban Green Council where she was responsible for developing and executing educational programs for the green building communities of New York City, Westchester, and Rockland. Prior to this, Jessica worked as Project Manager at LB Architects where she managed a variety of interior design and construction projects for corporate, residential, and not-for-profit clients. During this time, she also gained experience serving as an interior designer, construction manager, and office sustainability coordinator.
 
Jessica graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Design and Environmental Analysis. She serves as a committee member on the Living Building Challenge NYC Collaborative. Jessica is one of the first WELL Accredited Professionals, having completed a provisional WELL training at the Cleveland Clinic in February 2015 and then achieving the formal certificate in October 2015. A LEED Accredited Professional since 2008, Jessica maintains her Interior Design and Construction specialty. Jessica also holds a certificate in Green Professional Building Skills Training: Construction Management. Through her work at Delos, Jessica helps project teams around the world apply the WELL concepts to their projects.

 

Meagan Rossi brings a strong project management background to Delos, having worked extensively on building sustainability in both the public and private sectors. In her previous role, she worked as a design project manager with the Mayor’s Office, working to repair homes damaged by Hurricane Sandy throughout the City.

Prior to working with the City, Meagan worked as a consultant on building projects. The projects ranged from interiors, often aiming for LEED, to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) certification for an international brand.
 
Meagan is a certified project management professional (PMP), and is a LEED Green Associate. She holds a BA from Smith College and an MPA from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.
